Customer Agreement Policy
Products
Our products are made keeping in mind the finest quality, durability, child safety, waterproof, uv protection and discoloration. Any issues regarding the products will be outlined in the warranty certificate and will be taken care of in a timely manner.
Cancellation Policy
Due to the nature of custom made products, there are no cancellations under any circumstance after the first twenty-four (24) hours since the order goes to production the following day. Additionally, there are no cancellations for Rush and Express Orders as they are processed immediately. All illegitimate constellations will make customer fully liable for the full amount of their respective contract. If for any reason, the customer cannot pay the amount owing; their file will be sent to a collection agency and consequent legal action will be taken for breach of contract and the customer will be held responsible for all legal costs and administrative fees.
Delivery and Installation
Under normal circumstances, delivery date for Shutters, Vienna shades, Honeycomb, Roller blinds, Solar shades, drapery can take from 3-5 weeks for delivery and installation. All orders for 2” blinds can be delivered and installed within 3 weeks. All installations must be done during regular business hours Monday- Thursday from (10 am – 5 pm). There are no installations on Fridays and Sundays. If for any reason, customer is not available during the above days, we can accommodate their installation to take place on a Saturday but it must be requested and agreed prior to installation date setup. There will be a $100 Extra charges for customers requesting Installations after 5pm and on Sundays (10am-4pm). Customers are required to be at the location where the installation is scheduled. Installation date given by the Sales Representative is always an approximate date and will be honored but cannot be guaranteed. However, as a valued customer, we will be doing everything on our side to make sure that we deliver and install on time. Please note, installation time and date can be changed at anytime due to reasons beyond our capacity or due to the volume of orders, production delays, customs hold back of fabrics/parts, inventory back order, wrong fabric colour being ordered, damaged fabric during delivery or fabrics being reproduced from the supplier side. If a scheduled installation is cancelled due to any reasons, a next earliest installation date will be given to customer or customer may choose another date which will be more convenient to both parties and must be within the regular business hours.
Damaged / Shortages / Wrong Colour/Size Reductions
All damaged or missing and or wrong colour blinds must be reported to the installer immediately or the company within 24 hours of installations. Any claims after 24hours are considered invalid without written consent from installer. Any missing blinds or damaged blinds will be re-ordered and or replaced. For any replacement please allow us at least 2-3 weeks in order to remake the blinds and have it delivered and installed. All fabrics window coverings will have a (½ to 1 inch) gap on each side in order to fit components and clutches. this is standard for all window coverings except shutters.
Partial Installation
Due to the needs of our customers, sometimes we can accommodate a partial installation, because some window covering may be ready sooner than others taking longer for productions. in the case of partial installation, we expect customer to make a partial payment of the full amount; The remaining balance will be due when complete order IS delivered.
Late Delivered Orders
A 5% discount will be applied to the customer’s account for late delivered products. This discount is only applied when the order is past due installation date by 10 business days from the scheduled date. At anytime, customers cannot cancel orders as a consequence of late delivery. Any cancellation for the reason of late delivery will make the customer fully liable for all costs as outlined in the “cancellation policy”.
Product warranty and Support
Any issues regarding the products will be covered by the warranty as outlined in the warranty Certificate and will be taken care of in a timely manner. Any issues concerning the order after the installation of the products will not be sufficient to withhold any payments. We appreciate your business greatly, If for any reason you are not totally satisfied with our products & services, we humbly request that you keep your confidence high on us and allow us time to fix any issues that you may have with our products and services. Payments
All balances are due in Full Payment by cash or Certified Cheque upon the delivery and before the installation of the products. All cheques should be made payable to Innovative Window Covering & Home Decor Inc. All customers are notified before the installation to make arrangements for the balance to be ready and payable prior to installation.
